This is a beautiful 1950s beaded cardigan. It's powder blue with white iridescent sequins, white beads and pearls all over the front, back and sleeves. The bodice is lined too. It's in very good vintage condition, minor loose beads at waist, collar, and cuffs, small spot on lining, not noticeable when worn. It's labeled "McMullen, Decorated in British Crown Colony Hong Kong, 38, 70% lambs wool, 20% angora rabbit hair, 10% nylon, knitted in Japan". McMullen was a dressmaking company that specialized in shirt waist dresses. The company was founded in 1937 by Nathan Sheinman and was headquartered in Glen Falls, NY. The sweater measures Bust 38" Waist 24-26" Shoulder to hem 18". This is an authentic one of a kind vintage piece in wearable condition, that has been cleaned and repaired (if necessary).
